ProMat 2023 is being held this week, March 202 -23 in Chicago. ProMat 2023 occupied both McCormick Place South and McCormick Place North with over 1,000 exhibitors. I decided to (virtually) pick boxes from a shelf onto a Locus robot. So much so that I started to walk forward after I completed the first pick.

Peak Season Robot Picks Surge

Locus Robotics, a market leader in autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for fulfilment warehouses, released its annual Cyber Week recap announcing a record-breaking 331 million units picked globally on behalf of its retail and third-party logistics partners, a 66% increase over last year. Locus has now picked more than 2.5 vs. 2022. •
