That 89 cents per mile over-the-road rate would make a Walmart driver one of the richest in the industry. UPS seems to have broken their fourth quarter curse in which delays and slip ups seemed to be more the highlights versus any revenue achievements. Overall quarterly revenue was good, increasing just below 5% while adjusted net income increased almost 17%. Average revenue yield expanded 4.1% with gains in all products and record shipments were achieved.
