Etihad Cargo has partnered with CSafe Global to introduce its latest high-performing container, the CSafe RAP, across its global fleet of wide-body and freighter aircraft. Etihad Cargo, which has recently reinforced its pharmaceutical logistics expertise with the launch of PharmaLife, a specialised pharma and healthcare product, was the first carrier in the Middle East to receive IATA’s CEIV (Centre of Excellence for Independent Validators) certification in pharmaceutical logistics.

The new weekly China – Indonesia – Malaysia (CIM) Service, launches on the 14th November from Hong Kong directly connecting the southern part of China to Indonesia and Malaysia. The China Indonesia Malaysia (CIM) service rotation is as follows:Hong Kong – Nansha – Shekou – Surabaya – Semarang – Jakarta – Port Kelang – Hong Kong.

Cargo-partner recently organized a full train from Linz, Austria to Qingdao, China on behalf of the international fiber manufacturer. The block train consists of a total of 46 forty-foot containers, loaded with responsibly produced fibers made from the renewable raw material wood. The shipment departed for its journey across the “Iron Silk Road” on Friday, October 9 and is set to arrive at its destination station in Xi’an, China, in 16 days.

ZIM has announced that following recent developments it will offer customers in Israel and the East Med direct service to Jebel Ali port in the UAE. Two existing ZIM services will now offer service to and from Jebel Ali port in the UAE: ZIM India – East Med Express (ZIE) will offer service from Israel and the East Med to the UAE; and ZIM Israel India Service (ZII) will accept cargo from Jebel Ali to Haifa.
