The WSJ reported in their daily newsletter, Logistics Report , that “Fleets ordered 133,900 heavy-duty trucks in the first quarter of 2018.” In a Truckstop.com survey, 83% of respondents said they expected demand to increase over the next 6 months; that is a strong measure of confidence in the need for trucking capacity.
