LM Podcast Series: Flexe’s Siebrecht looks at the intersection of warehousing and e-commerce

In this podcast, Jeff Berman, Group News Editor for Logistics Management and the Peerless Media Supply Chain Group, interviews Karl Siebrecht, Co-Founder & CEO, for Seattle-based Flexe.


During this podcast, Flexe Co-Founder & CEO Karl Siebrecht provided an overview of the warehousing market and the impact e-commerce has had on market trends and conditions. 

Themes addressed over the course of this podcast included: the current state of the warehousing economy; how record-levels of e-commerce activity have influenced market activity; the unique challenges retail shippers face when addressing inventory projections and consumer demand; and the approach retail shippers take in establishing warehousing footprints, among others.

Karl Siebrecht is a seasoned technology executive, with leadership experience in both startups and large, global corporations. Prior to co-founding Flexe, Karl was CEO of AdReady, a Seattle-based advertising technology company. He is also a founding Board member of EnergySavvy, a SaaS-based solution for energy efficiency management. Previously, Karl was President of Atlas at aQuantive, before its $6B acquisition by Microsoft, and earlier in his career he was a Manager at Bain & Company in Boston and a Diving Officer in the U.S. Navy.
