ProMat 2023 officially opens for business

Ready to welcome a steady incoming flow of conference attendees, introduce the world to a host of new industry innovations and provide a full lineup of fun events all week long, ProMat 2023 opened its doors to the world at 10 a.m. CST this morning. After being forced to go virtual in 2021 due to the global pandemic, ProMat is back in Chicago for its first in-person event since 2019.

More than 900 of the world’s top manufacturing and supply chain solution providers and a crowd of conference attendees descended on McCormick Place on Monday morning. As the largest international material handling, logistics and supply chain show and conference of the year, ProMat exhibits represent all segments of the material handling and logistics industry, from traditional, manual equipment to computerized, automated systems.

To make it easier for attendees, the ProMat show floor is divided into solution-specific sections: equipment and components for manufacturing/assembly logistics solutions, fulfillment and delivery solutions, information technology (IT) solutions and robotics and automation solutions.

With over 2.6 million square feet of exhibit space, McCormick Place is the largest and most flexible use convention center in North America. Located on Chicago’s lakefront, just minutes from downtown and facing one of the most iconic skylines in the world, the center’s expansive campus provides world-class facilities.

In addition to its many exhibits, ProMat also features four keynote presentations, a “Student Day” on Wednesday March 22nd, and multiple different networking events. On Industry Night, MHI will recognize the industry’s most innovative products with its Innovation Awards.
