Carter Logistics was the proud recipient of the Third Party Logistics Company Award at the fourth Automotive Global Awards in North America.
The awards are designed to celebrate achievement, creativity, knowledge, and partnership. Carter Logistics was one of 21 companies and individuals rewarded for having achieved the unachievable or for having pioneered a new way of thinking or working. The awards delivered their promise of celebrating the successes of the audience and the industry as a whole, with Terry Virts, NASA Astronaut presiding over the evening. The event was held in the heart of Motor City, at The Westin Book Cadillac Detroit, a modern emblem of a legendary city revitalized. Every guest left the event feeling renewed with positivity for the industry they are passionate about.
Carter Logistics provides robust, state-of-the-art logistics, and has grown to over 1,200 employees, six terminal locations, two additional off-site fleet operations, international offices, and more than $200 million in annual revenue.
Carter’s yard management solution exemplifies excellence due to their proprietary yard management software, which introduces a more efficient way of managing yards and last-mile logistics for automotive manufacturers. In addition to the system, Carter also reduced their customers’ billable hours by streamlining processes.
