ROOM TO SPARE? | Trucking non-profit organization mobilizes to deliver disaster-relief supplies.

Shelli Conaway-Waugh, a 30-year trucking veteran, is already rallying the troops to get supplies on the way to Florida after Hurricane Ian passes and search and rescue efforts are over.
She runs a non-profit group called Trucks with Room to Spare.
Truckers with Room to Spare works with several organizations, truckers, and donors, to provide disaster-relief assistance to the hardest hit areas of natural disasters.

PIPELINE ATTACK | What impact could the sabotage of the Nord Stream Pipeline have on global gas prices and supply?
On Monday, three areas of the Nord Stream Pipeline were attacked, causing leaks and essentially disabling the structure.
This pipeline supplies energy between Russian and western Europe.
The EU has not named a potential perpetrator but has promised to protect its energy networks. Learn more about this attack and its impact on global energy supplies here.
USPS CONSOLIDATION | What is the USPS planning to do to reduce costs and save money?
The USPS plans to consolidate 21% of its delivery units into large-scale sorting and delivery centers to curb transportation costs.
The goal is to streamline operations and reduce the facility footprint over five years.
The USPS must cut costs as it has posted $87 billion in losses from 2007 through 2020.
Starting this fall, the USPS will begin using its first sorting and delivery facility in Athens, GA, with plans to open 100 more locations around the US. Which cities will see these consolidated distribution centers popping up? Find out here.
LIFTING RESTRICTIONS | Canada lifts Covid-19 vaccination requirements to cross the border.
Thanks to so many vaccinated individuals, the Canadian government is lifting the Covid-19 vaccination requirements at the border.
Effective October 1, all travelers will be free of all Covid-19 protocols, including showing proof of vaccination, pre-arrival testing, on-arrival testing, or reporting symptoms after arriving in Canada.
