Indian antitrust body fines airlines over cargo price-fixing

Three Indian carriers have been hit with multi-million-dollar penalties for price-fixing and revising fuel surcharges. The Competition Committee of India slapped a $6.1m fine on Jet Airways, with InterGlobe Aviation and SpiceJet also being penalised – albeit to a lesser extent – for their part in the illegal activities.
