The Port of New Orleans Breaks Container Record

The Port of New Orleans (Port NOLA) recently announced they had moved more containers in 2018 than at any time other time in their history. A total of 591,253 twenty-foot equivalent units moved through the port in 2018 this is a 12.3 per cent increase compared to 2017. Route Scheduling Expert Supports Hospice Charity Initiative

Qatar Airways Cargo Launches New Freighter Service to Kazakhstan

The state-owned flag carrier of Qatar, Qatar Airways Cargo recently announced they have started freighter operations to Almaty in Kazakhstan, providing more than 200 tonnes of capacity every week to the Kazakh city. This is their second new destination in 2019. Qatar Airways Cargo will employ two of their Boeing 777 freighters on the twice-weekly service, departing from Doha on Thursdays and Sundays, arriving in Almaty on the same day.
