‘Shiplilly Reinvention’ adding more capacity to our fleet sailing in the Caribbean

Press Release

“Shiplilly Reinvention” starts operations

Shiplilly has just announced the commissioning of “Shiplilly Reinvention”, a new addition to its Caribbean fleet. The new ship promises additional capacity and therefore better options for clients. Reinvention will be traveling under the Latvian flag. The ship anchored at Puerto Cabello in Venezuela (March 10,  2023, 14.00).

Expanding capacity and options is an ongoing goal of Shiplilly. Reinvention specifically targets Puerto Cabello (Venezuela) and Colon (Panama). This will continue to support the centrality of Shiplilly to shipping in Panama and Venezuela via the maritime bridge. Built in 2005, Reinvention carries a gross tonnage of 6451 and a Summer Deadweight of 8505 tons. It measures 134 meters in length with a beam of 20 meters.

This ship is a welcome addition to the operational capacities of Shiplilly and crucially cements the brand’s position as a regional hub for surrounding markets. By deploying a just-in-time policy, Shiplilly ensures the prioritization of customer needs and the management of costs. Ultimately, Reinvention is another strategic decision aimed at ensuring prompt deliveries. This is particularly important for businesses that are carefully managing their inventory to avoid build-up and storage space shortages.

The flexibility of vessels such as Reinvention are crucial for helping businesses to achieve quick resupply schedules. Our hub at CLP will continue supporting complementary services. For example, customers that have been using the Colón Container Terminal (Evergreen) will benefit from the addition of Reinvention to our fleet. Our hub is strategically located within a 75-minute drive to the Tocumen International Airport or Panama City.

Because of the investments we have made in technology, we offer a unique and agile service. The addition of “Shiplilly Reinvention” comes at a crucial time for the shipping industry when businesses are looking to streamline their operations. The addition of large-scale vessels on strategic routes is always welcome news.
