Robotics helps Ocado boost order processing by 13pc – Logistics Manager Magazine

Ocado is now processing an average of 320,000 orders a week – a 13.1 per cent increase on the same period last year. In a trading statement for the 13 weeks to 2nd December, the online retailer said its new robotic fulfilment centres at Andover and Erith were performing well, with Erith now processing over 30,000 orders a week. Retail revenue was up 12 per cent at £390.7 for the 12 week period.

£31.5m loss for House of Fraser

House of Fraser showed un underlying EBITDA loss of £31.5 million in the 11 weeks trading to 28th October, according to parent company Sports Direct. Sports Direct acquired the HoF business on 10th August.
