Fiji Airways has operated its first freighter flight between Nadi and Sydney. Fiji Airways’ Airbus A350-900WXB aircraft carried 41 tonnes of fresh produce across to Sydney. On the return sector, the airline assisted the Fijian Ministry of Health by bringing back 11.1 tonnes of medical equipment from Sydney. The medical equipment, donated by UNICEF, consists of temperature screening tents which is vital in the fight against COVID-19.
