1. How will the weather impact your logistics this week? 

This week will be reasonably quiet compared to the previous weeks across much of North America, with a quick-moving storm called a “clipper” being the only storm dropping snow this week. Adding to the nearly 24 inches of snow dropped in the northeast, the winter weather system will add a few more inches of snow and ice from Philadelphia to Maine and on into Canada. The American Transportation Research Institute analyzed over 300 locations and GPS data from over 1 million freight trucks. After sifting through terabytes of data, the #1 freight bottleneck in the US is in Fort Lee, NJ, at the I95/State Route 4 intersection.
