DHL eCommerce Americas names its CCO as new CEO

DHL eCommerce Americas will have a new leader starting tomorrow, as the unit of German parcel giant DHL has announced that Scott Ashbaugh, currently the unit’s chief commercial officer (CCO), will assume the role of Americas CEO. Ashbaugh will take the reins following the retirement of Lee Spratt, who will step down on December 31 after more than 20 years of work at the company.

June ends with third Illinois trucking company to file for bankruptcy

Elk Grove Village, Illinois-based freight hauler Elma Transport Inc filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Friday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
