United Airlines Buying 200 Electric Flying Taxis

United Airlines is investing $15 million in an air taxi company along with an agreement to purchase 200 four-seat electric aircraft with an option to buy 200 more. United’s investment in Eve Air Mobility follows an earlier investment in another maker of eVTOL (electric vertical takeoff and landing) vehicles. IBEW ratifies tentative labor agreement with U.S. freight railroads

NCCC said that membership of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers ratified the recent tentative agreement between IBEW and U.S. freight railroads. And it added that IBEW represents the third union to “ratify an agreement resolving the current national bargaining round,” adding that “[t]entative agreements with nine other labor organizations remain subject to ratification.
