As the US ports are catching up, port executives predict that the shipping peak season will start even earlier this year. 

How early?

Estimates say that importers are trying to ensure their goods are here well before the fall shopping season, which means peak season could start at the end of June.

DRIVE TIME EXTENDED | The FMCSA extends the waiver that increases commercial trucker driving time.

The FMCSA extended and amended the waiver allowing commercial drivers to stay on the road longer. 

The waiver for property-carrying vehicles extends through August 31st, and they modified the allowable cargo that can be transported.

The Institute for Supply Chain Management (ISM) stated that the manufacturing industry could see a 9.2% revenue gain, toping the original estimate of 6.5% in its Spring Semiannual Report. 

Additionally, 16 of the 18 manufacturing sectors tracked are expected to see revenue growth in 2022.
