West Coast shipping ports and union dockworkers have yet to agree on contract negotiations impacting 22,000 workers at 29 ports. 

As negotiations continue, one of the main sticking points is the impact of automation on jobs, costs, and production efficiency. 

If an agreement is not reached, then cargo movement could slow down.
