DB Schenker has resumed EU-UK services following the temporary suspension announced last week. Rogistics reports customers were informed UK shipments would only be accepted and collected if exporter and importer documentation was received and correct. Head of land transport Europe for the forwarder Cyrille Bonjean said the resumption of services had been made possible “by working together closely and with our commercial and industry partners”. While the news will alleviate supply chain strain, following news that DHL Express had also temporarily suspended EU-UK services, there are still many asking how multinationals failed to adequately prepare for Brexit.
