The up and down pattern of the national average price per gallon of diesel gasoline continued this week, according to data issued by the Department of Energy’s Energy Information Administration (EIA).
With a 0.004-cent increase, the average price per gallon for diesel, for the week of December 2, is $3.070.
This follows a 0.008-cent decrease to $3.066 for the week ending November 25 and a 0.001-cent increase for the week ending November 18 to $3.074.
On an annual basis, this week’s average is down 13.7 cents, which marks an improvement over last week’s 19.5-cent annual spread.
West Texas Intermediate Crude Oil is currently trading at $55.99 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
