A… B… N… (Always Be Networking)

As tradeshow season approaches, are you going to make the most of your networking opportunities? Often times clients come to me and ask, do you have a forum for your users to come together and share ideas? I answer, “Of course we do! Have you heard of or attended our User Conference?” This is especially important because Camelot users who attend our User Conference become great friends with each other and our staff. They also collaborate and share ideas on projects and processes, such as order fulfillment and replenishment strategies. Most importantly though, they form partnerships. Maybe their warehouse is full and their prospective clients need space nearby, they can share accounts. Maybe their client wants West Coast and East Coast presence, a Camelot client will likely refer them to a 3PL they’ve previously networked with.

Whether it’s attending Camelot’s User Conference or a host of Industry Tradeshow Conferences, such as the IWLA, IARW, SWA, WERC or TWA events, are you making the most of your networking opportunities? Please share what other benefits you look for at these events, such as education, new government regulations or simply to network and meet new friends.
